"PodCast"
You might be thinking the same thing I did the first time I heard this term:
“PodCast ? What the heck is a Podcast ?”
A PodCast is like a radio program, except you can download a podcast to a portable media player (such as an iPod or other mp3 player) and listen to it at your convenience.
There is a misconception about podcasts that I find many people still have:
- No . . . you don’t need an iPod to listen to them.
- No . . . you don’t need iTunes either.
Both of those are great tools for enjoying podcasts, but are not necessary by any means. In the simplest terms, a podcast is an audio file that you can listen to through your computer. Therefore, on our website, you can listen to past services or events at our church such as: Pastor Jason's sermons, holiday cantatas, special speakers, gospel concerts, etc.
Currently, there are several episodes to choose from and there will be many more to come.
Listening to a PodCast is as easy as: 1 - 2 - 3 !
