Heartland Nursing Home Ministry
Each month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday, we gather at the Heartland Nursing Home, 1058 Columbus Avenue in Chillicothe for a worship service. Join us as we minister to the residents in singing, praying and scripture reading. The service begins at 7:00pm. You are sure to be blessed as you see the "glow of appreciation" on the faces of these folks who are confined to the nursing home and unable to get out and attend church regularly as we do. Community Outreach
On Friday, November 28 (Black Friday), several of us from First Church went to Sears @ 4:00am to pass out free Hot Chocolate & Outreach Cards to those earlybird shoppers standing in line waiting for the store to open @ 5:00am. The shoppers seemed to really appreciate it.

Community Outreach
The teens (and a few adults) participated in the "Ross Lake Clean-up" project on Saturday, April 11th from 8:00am-noon. They helped collect 74+ bags of trash (plus a few animal carcasses) along the roads surrounding the Ross Lake area.
